I have not inspected the photos in person and am only commenting from the auction catalog's description. From the description, it appears that a fair number of the photos in lot #1055 (Yankees Team Photos) are not vintage originals.

..which shows we need bigger pictures. This is Leseuer, a 1910 hockey player in full gear, which ain't much gear for a goalie.

Also, I thought an avatar was like the earthly appearance of a god, like Krishna or Rama is for Vishnu. No?

Had some luck the last time I asked, thought I would again.

Lipset Auction -

#183 - 10 nice T3 Turkey Reds (I'd like Jordan, Downey, Lord, Smith)

Mastro -

#979 - 11 T9 Turkey Red boxers (I'd like T Murphy, J Driscoll, S Langford, Sullivan proof)

Feel free to email with any thoughts, thanks, Keith

The image in question is simply a detail from a photograph I own.

I see an almost identical potential photographic issue in the Robert Edward Auction as in the MastroNet. And I saw the same issue in a recent Superior auction. Just thought it interesting.
