Default Comparing Cap Anson Photos ears? (Is it him)

I was sold on the fact my photo was supposedly an Anson type 1 photo--comparing ears of known Anson photo on the right, I am now suspicious in fact its not Anson..the ears don't appear to match?---

External ear size changes over the course of your lifetime. A folly to be guessing on such things based on random photographs.

That's funny - I have that contemporary photo of Anson and his ear is curved - you clearly altered it to make it look straight.

So the slope angle of the ears change too--if they do that answers the difference in the shapes. So my photo may still be Anson--yes or no?

Oh, we aren't suppose to disagree with your options, because really in the real world that's all it is--

You haven't expressed an opinion, you have only posted a crudely cut out (by somebody) of Anson head with part of his ear sliced off.

I think it might be because his photo is a type 1 and it looks like that gray paint that they’d put around photos for newspapers.

Thanks for the input, because I didn't alter my photo- , in this particular scenario due to the cropping, the ears shouldn't always be the final conclusion-- Yes my photo Anson--case closed!

That photo was altered by someone or Anson had the strangest head shape I have ever seen. Not sure what the purpose of the post was, but whatever it was it only succeeded in making the original poster look silly.

In making a point that not all photo's can be determined only by the ears as the first and only conclusion--please don't brainwashed

Yah, but the ear shape is different because someone colored over part of the ear.

But you didn't make any point - of course you can't compare facial features if they have been altered. That should be obvious to almost anyone. So what?

Clearly the photo was cropped at some point. Very obvious...

This one has an excellent chance for "Dumbest Thread of the Year" (if we were to vote on such things).

Add east of Eden to the brainwashed list--if one was to authenticate the photo, using the ears wouldn't work---please advise??
