Default Stroh's Beer Sign eBay purchase...

I just purchased this Stroh's beer sign on ebay...
I do not have it in hand yet but looks to be a thicker cardboard stock.
It was cut in half or possibly a third or fourth.
I was curious if anyone could help me fill in the blanks what it might have said.
The last letters seem to be 'TV"
But i would love if anyone knows a comparable sign or some ideas what it might say.
Thanks
ANDY

How big is the piece you have left?

Growing up in Ohio, my dad was a Stroh’s drinker.

Andrew- Nice piece! Probably from late 60's to early 70's. Stroh's being a Detroit based beer did quite a few Detroit Tigers promo items over the years. I've seen similar Tigers related displays but they are scarce in that thick cardboard stock. If you search you may find a similar display done for the Tigers. The bottom half was probably a calender schedule and above the schedule said something like Stroh's presents the Indians on Radio and TV or watch the Indians on TV, something to that effect.

I think it's part of a big calendar. I have several similar ones of the Tigers from the mid-70's. They're two-sided as well. They display the baseball calendar and the tv games, etc. Paid about $10 each at local card shows.

They printed pocket schedules with the same graphics - maybe you could find your Indians one that way.

What's left of it measures appx 12 by 10 inches
And I agree it probably read Radio and TV
The spacing seems to fit. I might try to find a way to restore it.
Thanks all
Andy

Default Nice

That is a really nice piece especially if your a Cleveland fan. I picture the complete piece being a season's schedule. With an easel back it may have sat in a tavern on a shelf behind the bar. Strohs was was THE way to stay "hydrated" during 1968-1972 while living in Ann Arbor. Congrats on the pick up!!

Growing up in Toledo - Stroh's was the ONLY acceptable choice back in the day!

Water from the Detroit River gave it that "special" flavor.

That and the “fire brewing.”
