Default Is This Jim Thorpe In This Postcard??

I picked up this postcard recently. I am not sure the larger man is Thorpe as identified on the back but wanted to get some feedback. I bought it as not Thorpe but I know I have seen this postcard before over the years but cant recall it ever being identified as Thorpe. Interesting that he has a different hat then everyone else. Thanks.

No problem. I specifically picked that postcard up because someone had identified all the players on it. Too bad they didn't put first names as well.

Doubtful this means anything, leads anywhere, or is even of the slightest interest, but the names Jimerson and Printup
jumped out at us. Those families don't appear to register (at merely a cursory search) among the Cherokee communities
in North Carolina and Oklahoma, but they are significant names in the Iroquois / Six Nations communities throughout
New York State.

The Iroquois Indian Museum at Howes Cave NY [ http://www.iroquoismuseum.org/ ] in 2008 put together a nice exhibition
of photos and memorabilia pertinent to Native American baseball. You might want to contact them to see if they can provide
any additional information or insights regarding the team shown in the postcard. Six Nations ringers on a North Carolina
or Oklahoma Cherokee team?

Thanks Butch, I have been in contact with that museum before. I still get updates in my email from them all the time. Not sure if this is the Olson's Cherokee team or not as I've not ever studied that team, but I know that Native American players of all tribes played on that team.
