It's probally obvious where I got these pictures. I figured I would just post them, so not to reveal where they were being auctioned. (You have to look yourself to find the auctions) If I violated copyright, it's only because I didn't want to disclose the auctions.

It's a little blurry, but does the Hindu ad read "Two ballplayers" in each box? It was always my understanding that the packs had more than one card.

The ad does say 2 ball players in each box. The Hidu cigarette box shows the tops of 2 cards, one a portrait and the other an action shot.

Edit to add the Old Mill box actually shows 3 cards. The ad reads "Baseball pictures and a valuable coupon in each box."

They almost had the ad right. Shoulda read, "Valubale Baseball pictures and an expired coupon in each box."

People said it was a million dollar wound. But the government must keep that money, cause I ain't never seen a penny of it.

The top card sticking out of the Hindu pack in the ad appears to be Rube Waddell (throwing). Not sure who is on the portrait card.

Comparing Dooin and Bender -- I think it is Bender, although Dooin is a good guess.

It's Dooin - Lew Lipset's Encyclopedia mentions and shows a picture of the ad in the article on T206, and the T206 Museum website mentions it as well.
