Default T206 Tough Backs

What is a rough guideline to use on the premiums people place on their tough backs?

I'm always looking for tough backs, but some of these prices I see are ridiculous. Maybe an intelligent estimate of scarcity (like piedmont/sweet cap 1x, old mill/sov 1.5, epdg/cycle 2x, etc)

Thanks in advance!

Default pete....

a ton depends upon the player/ combo.......each back is very different.....almost impossible to call sometimes....I can usually estimate a good range for you....just email me anytime...\

one real back expert to call on is Jim Rivera at T206resource.com or Tim over there...

I have a decent memory and I guess over the years I have noticed some trends.

-Polar Bear has a small premium

-Old Mill and Sovereign a slightly higher one

-Cycle, american beauty, epdg, tolstoi, hindu carry a bit larger premium

-And carolina brights, broad leaf, lenox, uzit, drum and red hindu are very expensive premiums

It seems to be in line with scarcity, but I guess the old "worth what someone is willing to pay" is the only guideline.

Pete, here's a very rough estimate:

Broadleaf 350 20x
Carolina Brights 20x
Blank 20x
Lenox 30x
Red Hindu 40x
Uzit 80x
Drum 100x
Broadleaf 460 150x
Brown Lenox 180x
Brown Old Mill 240x

These are estimates and will of course vary from player to player.
But if you're serious, Chris B. is selling a Drum and BL460 right now on the BST board.

I feel like blank backs would be valued higher than Broadleaf 350 and Carolina Brights, just based on past sales.

I thought the same thing Waz when I saw the scale. I believe the blank back is right up there with Lenox and Red Hindu based on recent sales. Either way, great job on the scale, Sean.
