Default Info on a 1912 Baseball book

Hey guys, I'm curious if anyone is familiar with this book. It's called "Those Smith Boys On the Diamond" written by Howard Roger Garis. It was published in as a juvenile series book in 1912 and from what little info I've been able to gather about it, is quite rare. There are a few nice illustrations in it as well. It looks like it was republished in 2009 but this is (obviously) the original hardcover. Any info about it (including possible value) would be very helpful. Thanks!

Jarrod

Baseball fiction is even moe thinly traded than nonfiction. Most collectors I know have a copy of the book;the trick is to find a new collector to the market.

I've had 4or5 copies of the book. Here's one w/o dj, followed by one in dj

The prices on-line for what seems similar condition copies to yours (I.e. no dj) are $10, $25, 2 at $85 and $90

Thank you Max. I saw it at a thrift-type store today and while it wasn't $1, it didn't cost me too much. I thought it was worth a gamble. Seems to be a neat piece regardless. And 100 years old this year.

Now to sign "To Jarrod, Bast Wisshes - Joe Jackson" in it and resell it.
