Default 1922 American Caramel E121 Babe Ruth on ebay

Posted By: ken McMillan

good evening,

Quick note of warning for a current auction on ebay. the item number is Item number: 280290652995. I had talked with the individual selling this and about 26 other E121 a couple of months back regarding his cards and had recommended he get the more valuable cards graded for authenticity. At that time he told me that he had bought the cards from and estate in Kansas city which seemed possible but suspicious. If you read the item description now, he is trying to "sell these items for a prominent attorney in New York". Now I ask, why the different story? Fake??? probably!!! I don't normally out auctions but here is an example of a questionable auction and would hope that nobody here will take the bait. Would be a very expensive lesion that we can all avoid. The seller also changed his name from thecardking to cardking for all interested. Also the seller e-mailed me after the post here saying that these are different cards than the prior auction (possible I guess). Take it for what it's worth and come up with your own conclusion.
