Default My post-war National purchases

My 13th National (and 5th in Cleveland) didn't disappoint. As always, it was great catching up with friends and talking ball-card collecting with people that give a damn! Here are my 5 post-war pick-ups:

First, a couple of upgrades to my HOF rookie sets:

and...

Next, a couple of '48 Bowmans (I only saw two Berras in "8" at the Show; it was one of the big cards I was hoping to find):

And finally...

This card really struck me, the registration and color in particular. There's a crease in the top left (accounting for the technical grade) but the corners are pretty sharp. Really happy to now own this iconic card.

Very nice! That Bench looks very sharp! That's my dream card in a 10 (hey I can dream), right now I own in in a PSA 7. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Glyn,

The card must have been amazing. Ideally I'd love one, with the spelling on the back being The as opposed to a version with the typo Tne. Truth be told, I might never be able to afford the PSA 10, but if I could choose one card to own, that would be the one.

Best,
John
