Default Greg Bussineau Auction Wins

Did anyone win anything in the Greg Bussineau auction that ended last Thursday? Before this auction I had only won 1 inexpensive card. I won several cards in the last auction. I must say, so far I am impressed with the service. I mailed a check Saturday. Today I received an email letting me know that my winnings have been shipped via registered mail. I'm not sure what they were charged for using registered mail but I was charged only $13 for shipping.

+1. GB runs a great, high quality AH, w/o any of the typical BS problems delineated here with many others. Never had a problem as a buyer or consignor over several years.

I wanted to go after the Gehrig 34..it was amazing in only a 2.5 grade. I remembered it hung around 1800 until the final night and realized after it was over. It shot up past 4k
and past the yellow Gehrig in a 6.
I don't follow football as of lately...but there was some $ flowing in there.
As for pre-war--I thought that Matty AB back was a nice choice.
I think this is the 1st time, I didn't bid here/win anything as my focus is on a few certain cards, which this time didn't have.

I was runner up on the T205 Johnson in a 2.5 holder that went for around 5k....another grading fatality that didn't keep bidders at bay.

I have been picking up a few 1964 Topps Stand-Up cards and thinking about doing the set. I won some in this auction including a couple of the tough short prints. I guess I'll officially start the set once I receive the ones I won.

a beautiful card...granted...but if there is an erasure mark isn't the grade deserved?

If it was truly an erased mark then yes. The value still flies in the face of the SMR numerical grade. Buy the card, right?

That price was crazy. I won the t205 Joss. I was happy with the price for such a rare card in that grade.

I bought 2 sets in the 1980's. They were selling for $15.00. The good old days.

I picked up the AB Matty. I hesitated for a second before my last bid since I've been buying a lot lately. But I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Now I have a "mini" Matty dark cap back run going.

I had my eye on both the Gehrig and WaJo 2.5's but they soared. Obviously great looking cards for the grade.
