Default Plow's Candy 1912 Cobb

This PSA authentic 1912 Plow's Candy Cobb just went for $7,600. It amazes me that a card which couldn't grade higher than "authentic" went for this amount. However, I must say this is, in my humble opinion, one of the most impressive cards in the entire hobby. An awesome picture of Cobb on the card which is the only picture I have seen of him that captures his athleticism and intensity.
I would appreciate the thoughts of the greater minds on this baord than me as to the quality of this card and value.

Default Plow's Candy 1912 Cobb

The price doesn't surprise me the least espicially considering a PSA 6 example sold for nearly 30K (with juice) in the August Mastro. Combined pop reports from SGC and PSA indicate 4 slabbed examples (not including authentic slabs). While the slabs don't reflect the total number in existence, they are an indicator of how rare the card is.

While this is not the best comparison, a Red Portrait Cobb with Cobb back in an authentic slab would go for at least double the price this card went for. There are fewer of the Plow Candy Cobbs than the Red Portrait Cobbs with Cobb back.
