Default Joe DiMaggio Autographed Baseball

Collectors,

I have a Joe DiMaggio autographed baseball that I got signed in person on August 21st,1982. I want to get the ball PSA certified.

What is the best direction to go to get it certified PSA. I have the only certification that was available back in 1982 and it is the card that I received for getting the Auto.

Thanks and please let me know your thoughts. I have attached a couple of pictures.

Simple question. Are you selling it? If so, ok you might get enoug more for it to offset the cost of the certification. If not, why bother sending it to PSA when you yourself got it signed and know it's real?

Edit: And it is a very nice ball.

I don't plan on selling the Joe D. So good point on your part.

Yep -- Particularly if you plan to keep it for yourself, and it would mean more to you than anyone else given that you got it signed in person, I don't see any reason to spend money submitting it for a third party certificate. Maybe use the money to purchase a nice, vintage photo to display it along side.
