Default Catalogue Software?

So many AH put together really beautiful catalogs. Does anyone know what service or software they use? I was thinking of making some for my completed sets. I have the scans and this seems a nice way to view them vs opening the safe or making a web page. I suppose shutterfly or similar could make a photo book but I'm guessing the catalogue specific software would make an easier time of it with the layouts I would want.

I can't speak directly for the auction houses, but most publications are built by graphic designers using Adobe Indesign. However, it isn't easy to use if you are not familiar with it.
