Someone had a large, clear image of Nuf Ced's Roxbury bar a while back. Anyone recall whom? I would appreciate a scan.

Try the Baseball Tavern on the net, they are trying to replicate the original saloon and have done an amazing job.

Thanks for the link, Dan.

Haven't been on much lately over the past few weeks. I just lost a very close friend a couple of weeks ago and it's been a bit tough getting things back to normal.

If you need a bigger scan, Steve, let me know. I'll see if I can get you one.

Greg

Floating around somewhere are images of the interior of the bar. The memorabilia on the wall was amazing. It was covered floor to ceiling with photos and other Red Sox memorabilia dating from the 19th century to early 20th century. I think that most was lost in a fire and what was not lost went to a library in Boston (I might be making that last part up though).

I'm showing my age here - which is still a bit younger than some of you guys - but did anyone
catch that the Peter Nash who rebuilt the tavern is actually Prime Minister Pete Nice from the rap group 3rd Bass?
Who knew? From early white rapper to 19th century baseball fan. Cool.

He also was involved in the moving of Shoeless Joe's house in Greenville,SC to the new West End Field (home of Redsox A team Greenville Drive) and turning it into a Joe Jackson museum. jfyi
