Hi All,

I am always looking for different varitions of the Pete Wood Old Judge card.

I am narrowing down my T202s to 15 cards. I am looking for VG/EX cards. I have some higher grade ones, and some fillers and always willing to trade. If anyone is out there collecting T202s besides Brian Hodes and Julie, drop me an email it doesn't seem like there are many of us on the board.

Lee

Hi,

I know most people collect pre-war cards in here. But I'm sure many collect cards from the 1950's and 1960's, too.

Right nowI am looking for complete sets or near complete sets (Vg/VgEx or better) from the 1950's through the early 1960's.

Plus I am interested in E90-2, E-93, and E95 cards.

Thank you.

Cy

Fresh from the annual GBSCC show, I have several cards for sale (or trade) including:

  • 2 very scarce (rare) E-Unc. Baseball Bats of Carrigan and Doyle

  • 2 tough T207's: Herzog (Anonymous) and Gregg (Cycle)

  • 4 1910 Obaks

All cards can be seen on my website here. Prices are firm, meaning that I think they're reasonable.

I regularly offer a variety of mostly unique (meant literally) items and group lots on eBay. Mostly original photographs and vintage autographs. I'm no Scott Gaynor, then who would want to do Scott's packaging? I know he wouldn't.

    Hi Scott
Don't worry, I' sure there are a few snipers around.

I've also have a few auctions ending tonight around 10:30, as well as a few odds and ends starting about the same time. Just a few items my daughter found while cleaning my desk.
    Be well Brian

    http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=bhodes%40rcn.com&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50

As always I am desperately seeking:

Graded T202s (generally 5/60 or better)

    Graded T205s (5s or 6s)

    Cuban card of Oscar Charleston

Old Judges of Hoss Radborne, Sam Thompson, King Kelly, Cupid Childs, Deacon White, and Pete Browning.

I'd also welcome the opportunity to trade for my wants.

I have two identified 1868 team images (CDV's) available for trade or sale. I am looking for 19th century professional team images to buy or trade for. Also looking for anything related to 19th century Kansas City teams.

    Hi all,
I just posted 2 1887 N172 Old Judge St. Louis Browns Champions for auction on ebay. The players are Bushong and Hudson. Both are rebacked and low grade. Specfic condition problems are noted in the auction's description. A Good oppurtunity to obtain a couple of affordable examples. The link is below. Starting the pair off at 49.99, with a 200.00 BIN.

    Regards,
    Adam

Both super nice looking cards with very square corners and clean. I'm at work, but can provide scans when i get home.

Griffith - I think this is the one that has a tackhole in each corner, I know they're barely noticeable. Looks EX+ or better.

Clarke - Also looks EX+ or better. A barely noticeable crease that only shows on the back.

I may have these descriptions backwards, but I do know both cards are super looking. Keith

    Hello All;

I went through my collection recently and realized after all the upgrading and collecting over the years I’ve got a lot of dupes and trips of cards. Only ones I currently have scans of are (53) T206’s but I have more T206’s and other types and will post as I get them organized. I don’t know my exact plans per say i.e. (sell, trade etc.). Would be willing to sell but may much rather do some good old fashioned horse trading maybe get some cards I don’t have, or HOF’s I need. My collection is pretty strong in the 20th tobacco area. I would love to try to get some 19th cards and or some 1930’s type cards of certain players. See anything you like drop me a line with an offer and or what you have to trade. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks for looking. By the way I’m new to this whole forum thing so be gentle.

    Maxx

Thanks to all who responded to my Caramel Card inquiry a few weeks back and easier sets to collect. I've decided to start on the E95 series.

Looking at any E95 players you have available since I currently have none.

    Thanks, Bill Kasel

    Hello,
As usual I am looking for any items from the following players:

Frank Chance(I am not pleased with the one who out bid me on the Lections Chance in Lew's auction.)

    Raphael Almeida

    Armando Marsans

And one item I do not usually wish for is an Old Judge card of a player named Buckley. The name 'C.Buckley' is written on the bottom.

    Regards,
    Nick

Just listed a bunch more cards on eBay. Listed some Zeenuts, t213 type 2 Federal Leaguers, a group of low grade Obaks, some t207s and some more caramel cards including an e92 Nadja and e97 Briggs.

    Hi Jay,

New to the board but I thought you'd want to know that you had the scan for your E97 where your Old Mill picture should be!

I am not a dealer, collector or trader...just someone who has a full original deck of 1913 National Game baseball playing cards for sale. 43 players and 9 action cards but no rules card, scorecard or box. The cards are ungraded but probably range from poor to quite good. They've been in the family for 90 years and have been played many, many times in game mode. I don't have scanning capability but will gladly mail out decent photos of requested players to interested collectors. After going through many of your stories in this forum, I'm a little leery of eBay, auctions and dealers.
