Default FS - Ty Cobb Vintage Framed Items, including 1905 Newspaper welcoming "The Peach"

Here's a Ty Cobb item that has been professionally framed and makes an outstanding display item. It's an Aug. 30, 1905 copy of the Detroit News featuring a small item "Cobb Is Here."

This is the Motor City's welcome to The Georgia Peach. It announces the arrival of the young Cobb, who goes on to baseball history!

This VERY RARE newspaper also features an image of legendary University of Michigan coach Fielding "Hurry Up" Yost. This framed piece is 28x30 inches overall and includes two images of the young Cobb, both are modern copies of earlier prints. The glare on the glass if from my camera and not on the newspaper. Forgive my weak photo skills, please.

Asking $475 shipped. Paypal gift preferred, but will consider other options.

The other Cobb items have been sold.
