As most of you know, the only fella with facial hair in the T206 set!

Just back from SGC yesterday, quite a blazer of a front!

Crappy 1923 Zeenut card - there is a method to my madness though as Howard played/managed the 1904 Western League champion Omaha team.

Del Howard -Played for Omaha in 1904

Brian -
When your in your Photo Bucket album and downloading your pics
do you see an "options" tab next to the browse icons.
If you click on that tab you have the option to make the scans
any size you'd like. Thumbnail is one of the options they give
which is what your probably defaulted to. Change it to the "message
board" setting and save your option. You should be good to go after
this. Thanks,

Tony

Just picked this up..

Same ink mark as a couple of Leons Big Heads...... It has what looks like a number "3" at top.

My only "big head" card is a Baker. It has a "7" at the top, just like Leon's Burns.

Jeff, that ticket stub looks pretty nice. I'd love to pick up some kind of memorabilia from the 1919 World Series, and a ticket stub might end up being what I get.

Joe D, terrific E103 Matty~

Jeff, I love that D304 Chase...I love that set in general and if I ever acquire deeper pockets that is a set that would tempt me. Nice pickups all around.

Jason, my favorites are probably my T3, E103 and D304 but it changes by the day. Oh and my T206 pink portrait with ink missing. And my T206 white hat PSA 8. I'd love to get my hands on a Sepia or Novelty Cutlery Chase but haven't been fortunate to as of yet.

Your card is the blue portrait ink missing.

The REA description, mentioning the pink portrait, was not correct.
It definitely is the blue portrait (without the blue ink).

Joe, that's correct, my bad. You can tell by the number of buttons exposed on the shirt. I think I always think pink because the only color on the entire front of the card is some pink by his eyes.

That's a really nice card of Hughie McQuillan, Neal. McQuillan's signature is nearly impossible to find. He died way back in 1947, but I would have thought there would be more examples out there given his lengthy MLB tenure. That's not the case, though. I've only owned one.

A few related tobacco items - sorry I'm using the parent's antiquated scanner. They all seem close to the era based on tax stamps. Does anyone know if the Helmar envelope would have originally contained the Helmar Baseball Stamps?
