Default Deals with Net54 Board Members -- Year in Review

I joined Net54 in late 2016, and I am very thankful I did. Not only have I learned a ton (mostly about T206s), and made a great number of good friends, but I have also used Net54 to pull off a number of very satisfactory deals (probably about 15+ in total). Below are pics of a few cards I acquired this year by trade, purchase, or part-trade & part-purchase from Net54 members (the Cobb is not yet in hand; still gotta drop a 51 Bowman Mays in the mail). How about posting pics of some of your best Net54 deals:

Great cards, Ryan. Here are a few from another Net54baseball moderator from the BST....boomeranged from my first collection and happily back. The Arrelanes came from the largest "find" I ever had.

Net 54 is Great--I met a lot of great guys on here and picked up some high end cards---Exhibit Lou Gehrig RC, 1951 Bowman Mantle and Mays, T206 Cobbs and 1933 Goudey Babe Ruths---Just picked up these two cards--the second Joe Jackson I owned, but the last one was back in the 80's

WOW! Nice CJ's! I'd take those over a new hooker and a burkett any day of the week...unless the burkett's frank of course!

Been on the broad board for nearly fifteen years. Have gained an immense amount of knowledge, made some terrific friends, and have picked up a nice card now and then.

I had a great year adding rare Cobb postcards from board members who clearly view me as someone willing to pay strong -- and they're right. Keep them coming in 2018.

I have sold and purchased only a few items over the years on the the BST and even tried the auctions - I hope to change that soon as I was able to meet Leon in person after all these years as he made me think about the BST a bit more - I tend to hold back as I am a part-time dealer - but I also love to collect as well - I feel sometimes maybe some board members avoid requests/listings from me on the BST - have not had the best success when I have tried - but I will keep trying and at some point my website will be part of the back and forth for items I will have for sale - my website is complete after a lot of hard work and look forward to adding stuff in the coming years and moving forward

Happy Holidays

I'm in the same both in both of these regards. I haven't sold/traded/bought much on here. I only started purchasing in about August. I've bought a few lots, made a few trades. But not more than about 3/month.

I also have trouble moving stuff. But I'm hoping as I continue to buy, people will want to start trading with/buying from me as well. Kind of slow to get going around here. But I really enjoy it.

You'd never see a thread about so and so passing away over on BO, Beckett or SCF (the 3 other places I trade/buy/sell). You'd never see threads and threads of users wishing other users Merry Christmas.

I feel like it's a family around here, and I really enjoy it. I'm also learning a ton as I only got into vintage earlier this fall. But I'm learning about Ts, Ns, Ws, photos, postcards, pretty much everything I knew NOTHING about.

I love it.

That said, I have bought a few things and traded for just a couple. None that compare to what you other guys are showing. But I'll post some pictures over the weekend since I'm get off work in about a half hour.

There is no question this board gives you a good start with everything and making you feel good about collecting - it does feel like family around the board often - which is why I always look around just about everyday - welcome and good luck with collecting WDWFAN

I made about 10 deals with board members in 2017 including buying and selling. No problems with any transactions. Looking forward to many more in 2018.
