It looks like Frank White is signing his mail again, as evidenced by him signing both his base card and Royals Leaders for me.

White also signs via PastPros if you sent to the T-Bones.

I have not known Griffey or Knight to sign their mail but awesome on the Kingman.

It's a nice Saturday mail day for me.

Shane Rawley - c/o PastPros

Jose DeLeon - c/o PastPros

Bobby Grich - Sent a handwritten note apologizing for charging but that's how to separate true fans from those doing business.

Joe Hesketh - Mail order signing

Jeffrey Leonard - Foundation donation. Added NLCS MVP inscription as requested.

I hope he charges a reasonable amount for the "true fan". It's too bad that a true fan has to pay for a signature, being a fan and the reseller just moves on because they can't turn a profit from it if they are charged a fee.

I was at the Fanatics show tonight and it was an absolute madhouse for the Cubs. I'll be going back on Sunday.

I added Chris Bosio to my set.

I got a Phil Garner which came back bent. It was chicken scratched and I had a previous failure when he sent back my 2000 Fleer Greats of the Game unsigned.

So I haven't had terribly positive experiences with Phil Garner, but a success is a success.

Evan as a life-long Giants fan I can admit that getting Tom Lasorda TTM is a good day. The bottom cards 3 were Topps Archive purchases off ebay.

That is a sweet group of 87's right there. Five HOFers, and the non-HOFers are stars in their own right, with a great hitter and two dominant closers.

Well done.

Got 3 in the mail today.
The Rangers TC is signed by Bobby Valentine.
The checklist is signed by Jessie "the body" Ventura. I am going for non-baseball signatures on the checklists. Music, Other sports, Celebs, etc... that were notable in the 80's.

His website says $35 for cards or items under 5"x7" but I put $25 USD cash in the envelope. I guess it works out to $35 CDN with the exchange rate since I am Canada....lol Very nice auto though indeed, I am thinking of getting a unique 11x14 photo and sending it to him as well to sign and put it up on my wall. I think he charges $55 for a photo that big.

Thanks for the info! Do you have to specify for him to use blue sharpie or is that standard? I've never really sent off to foundations but after seeing Ryan and Clemens returns I think I might send in some old cardboard to get signed.

Feel free to PM me if this goes too far off topic.

I just came across this thread. A lot of awesome info about the set in here. I have been working on a 1987 Topps autographed set for just about a year. I am currently at 233, still have along way to go. I have most of the HOFers and Semi-stars. I have been upgrading and picking up certified cards out of the 2016 Topps Archives release. I am hoping that next years Archives release will focus on the 1987 design for the 30th anniversary. Maybe they will get a bigger selection of signers for the release as well. I have yet to try getting any through the mail, but I may start as it seems to be a great way to get some of the tough players I will try to post some pics with the next few days.

I did not. I don't really care too much for Topps recycling old designs, but that right there is pretty sweet.

How did you get Jaime Cocanower? Was it TTM to his residence, or through someting like PastPros??

Cheers,

TTM. I previously got him on his regular base card and decided to send him the Brewers Leaders card. I also could've sent to pitching coach Herm Starrette since he's on the card and Charlie Moore doesn't sign.

PM coming.
