Default 1887 KIMBALL (N184) cards....neat 2-pose design....show us some cards

.

Civil War veteran and Tobacco tycoon, William Smith Kimball, produced his cigarette brand in the Peerless Tobacco Works in Rochester, NY.
In 1867, Kimball took over this Tobacco Co. and transformed this factory using modern, more efficient cigarette manufacturing equipment
which by the 1880's was producing 750 Million cigarettes a year.

In 1887, Kimball included sportscards premiums (N184) in his cigarette packs to further promote the sale of his brand. Four of the 50 cards
in this set feature BB players, they are...…

E. A. Burch
Dell Darling
Hardie Henderson
James O'Neil

Checklist printed on the card's back......

Default not sure if it's fair for me to play

as I have 74 of the 75 cards in the master set. Many of my favorites are off on a shelf and hard to access. While it's a somewhat unpopular set for a few reasons - I like it because of the artwork, the true to life depictions of the athletes, and the additional action scenes. I'll offer this one - the representation was taken from an actual photograph also found on a period cabinet card. Shameless plug for my missing Rowe common without the advertising on front
