Default New website

I just tried my hand at setting up a website to track my collection. I have never worked with web design and I welcome all criticism, constructive or otherwise. Thanks

I think your new site is great and really enjoyed looking at your collection. I too have been thinking about doing something like this. I have looked at sites like Zistle but I have't been very successful getting it going......again the site looks great !!!!!

I'm likely the worst person to ask, as I have zero experience in doing such a thing, so if anyone can past step 1 in their attempt, my hat is off to them!

Those are some great t206's you have. One comment the pictures seem a bit dark if you could lighten them up a bit somehow I think it would make your effort even more impressive. Other than that nice work!!

I doesn't look like your first try, very nice.
My only suggestions would be to scan the cards in so there isn't any reflections on the slabs and/or focus issues.
Still, awesome job!

Default Scans

I would agree that you might want to invest in a good scanner. Take the sleeves off of the graded cards when you scan them. The cell phone photos are dark, and the flash reflects off of the sleeves. The wooden background detracts from the cards.

You have a great collection. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Rick

I have a scanner but I never used it..it is part of my printer. I'll try to take some better pictures - while I'm new to "web design" I'm totally new to photography! I've only ever used my cell phone to take pictures. Thanks for the feedback

Hey Tim. I see you've got some familar cards there

As far as the site, I think the background wallpaper distracts from the cards. It's quite "busy". Also, add back pics. Ya gotta show off that cocoa!

Keep it up.

On advice from here a few years ago I bought an Epson Perfection V300 scanner. I'm very pleased.

Thanks for the feedback. I made a few changes and added a few more cards. I'll work on taking new (better) photos after the work week is finished. Thanks again
