Rhett, thanks for your confirmation. Yes, these 3 cards are on thin stock like regular W501s (which I now refer to as W501-1s). A very interesting aspect of these 3 cards is that someone, presumably whomever owned them before the eBay seller, wrote a number in pencil in the upper-right-hand corner of each card. This is exactly where the printed card number appears on a W501-1 card, AND the penciled numbers on these 3 cards are the correct printed card numbers that appear on the W501-1 cards of these 3 players; so, apparently, a prior owner did make the connection between these cards and the numbered W501-1s.

I don't love caramel popcorn very much, but I would have bought a ton of it in 1914.

First of all, great stuff guys!! Love the T206 pick ups, W501-2 pickups, centered '39 Teddy Ballgame....etc..

Mac Dice- I knew it was scarce and not sure how it didn't get thrown in with the catalog sale stuff. Glad to keep it.

This M116 ad cut/? did the boomerang back too...happy it did also.

Two Goudey upgrades. They might not look like much, but 8 years into working on the set, they are significant to me.

The Myer SGC 92 is the highest graded with only 5 SGC 84s. There have been only 6 PSA 8s graded. My set now stands at 187/240 SGC 88 or better.

The Moore SGC 84 is the highest graded with only 1 SGC 80 below it. There have only been 6 PSA 8s graded. It is off centered for sure, but it was the last card I needed to have my set all SGC 84 or better, except my SGC 82 Lajoie.

I figured you were a shoe-in for the 1933 Goudey Sport Kings Browning SGC 9! Did you not win that one?

Sadly, I have been breaking up my Sport Kings set.

Can't own everything. We all have to make choices.

My latest picks ups for my Cardinals/Browns collection.

First up a T205 Bresnahan with a Piedmont Factory 42 Back.

And one of my favorite cards from the T206 set.. The Pelty Horizontal pose. A little rough but I still love the card!

Nice pickups there Scott. Bresnahan looks great for a technically lower grade card. I just picked up the Pelty for myself. Great card!

thanks Leon (and Kenny)! I'm stoked to add it to my collection...just don't tell the wife!

I still have 9-10 more Old Judges I want to acquire before my time is up. I hope to find more like this one to fill all the remaining holes in my HOF "rookie" collection.

Hoping the one I got looks as undergraded in real life as it does in the photos.

Default My first boxing card and a T200

Thanks to JD Heckathorn for this T200. The T218 is my first boxing card, to add to my Jewish ball player collection (with a bit of a stretch on the ball player part). Leach Cross' birth name was Louis Wallach, and his nickname was "The Fighting Dentist".

Boy, are Red Cross cards getting harder for me or what. I guess I am now officially collecting the T226 as well. Koufax32fan, thanks for the info about Cross, I don't know anything about him, just that he is on a Red Cross tobacco card. You inspired me to post this one.
