Default Who would you send it to?

Posted By: Paul

I have a 1933 Ruth Blue Bird that I want to get graded, because it's in such nice shape. It measures 3 15/16 x 5 7/8 on thin card stock. SGC can't slab a card that size. GAI can, but only has a semi rigid holder for a card that size, & PSA "thinks" they can by using one of their 4 x 6 ticket holders. The card is listed on page 45 of the 2005 Standard Catalog. The back has an ad for the Blue Bird grape drink. Thank you.

Sounds like your best bet is PSA - GAI's larger size holders look ridiculous IMO.

I just found out PSA's best holder for a card that size will only fit a 3 5/8 wide card. I checked with one of their manager's instead of just trusting their customer service rep's. I'm pretty leary of GAI's over sized semi rigid holders too. I may just keep in ungraded. Nothing wrong with that.
