Default Pete Rose bat

Ok what I have here I believe to be a fairly early Pete Rose gamer. Any info is appreciated.
I am trying to sell for my 89 year old dad. But need to know it’s the real deal. We live in kentucky and this came from Don Gullets neighbor back in the 90’s. They brought into my coin shop and I bought it and gave it to my dad.

Do you have the exact length and weight? A pic of the barrel would also help.

Default Pete Rose nat

It is right at 36 inches and the weight is 32 and 3/4 ounces. It’s written in pencil on the knob.

Looks right; but I don't have my book with me at the moment to check the exact dates for the stamping.
Looks early though. Beautiful bat.

Here is another similar one for comparison:

Note that the font from your bat is slightly different than the other example, and this one:
https://www.greyflannelauctions.com/lot-39841.aspx

The "S" and first "2" are more flat, but the last two are not.

So my guess is your bat is slightly later than these, because the font was corrected.

Circa 1971?

I am sure others here will know way more than me.

Default Rose

Great bat! I am possibly interested in it if you decide to let it go. I am guessing 1970-72 based on the Powerized stamping.

Thanks All for giving your opinions. For some reason I cant seem to reply to DM. We are not sure what direction we are going with this bat at this time. Appreciate the Info.

In looking at my copy of the Louisville Slugger reference guide, it looks to me, that the "Powerized" is the P-11 version, pinning the bat to 1970-1972.
