T206 -- Old School
Posted By: Darren
After some consideration, I've put my "base" set in binders. I've "cracked out" many just to get the set in pages....I'm happy with it. |

awesome...I've been toying with putting my collection "back" in sheets like they used to be when I was a kid. But with the diverse size of many cards in my collection it seems like it'd be a pain in the butt! |

Darren, that looks great! Where is a good place to pick up a handful of those t206-sized sheets? I don't have many T206s but wouldn't mind putting them in sheets! |

Darren, I have done the same thing. They are much more fun to play with when they are in a binder. I still have my Cobb's and Elberfeld in slabs but I am thinking seriously about breaking them out. I have done the same thing with my T205's. I use the 10 card pages and the albums from England that were discussed on the board a while back. |

Yea, those T206s look awesome all bunched together like that. I just got my first 2 RAW T206s this past week. I am starting a raw T206 set to display in binders/sheets so I don't have to drag out my graded stacks. |

Old school is just non-sense! Any card not professionally graded is worthless. |

I didn't realize I was old school. My set is mostly in the 15 per page sheets too. I must admit though, I sent in most of the HOFs to be graded just a couple of months ago. I replaced their spaces in the binder with reprints. |

Well now it's time to have some fun with them. Take all the cards out. Sort by team. Replace them. |

I was recently inspired by Ted's post "AFFORDABLE T206 sub-sets you can COMPLETE", so I took the leap from PSA to raw in order to work on an all Polar Bear set. Twelve down, 240 to go! (I too am using the Ultra-Pro 15 Pocket Sheets - they are readily available on eBay.) |

I have recently started a low grade T205 set. I buy them raw, or crack them out when I get them. It has been so much more fun and rewarding than my attempt at slabbed T206's. I am at about 120/220 in less than 2 months. Sorting them by team seems to work well. There is nothing like getting a good sized lot in the mail and sliding them into their respective slots. |
