Default 1946 Cardinals with Stan the Man etc....

A loosely defined premium put out by the St Louis Club. It's approx. 12 x 8 1/2 inches, trimmed on the sides, with a blank back.

Not expecting this to happen, but really happy to add these three Dihigo cards on eBay of all places. I have been looking for years and was amazed to see all three consigned at once.

Ok, so please forgive me since this isn’t baseball but I had to share this with folks who appreciate vintage cardboard.

I live in Richmond, Va. and after 136 years of being away from home, this 1887 Allen & Ginter card from the N28 World’s Champions set came home to live with me. It’s my first N28 and I’m just speechless.

Cy has a very nice backside, and the top 87% of the card has great color and overall look. The bottom 13% of the front is what I imagine made it affordable, so nice pickup.

Nice going. n172 pose runs are a fun challenge. I'm making progress on Billy Crowell, journeyman pitcher who played for many teams including New Orleans and Houston. Here are 2 new additions.

Thanks, Patrick!

My wife rowed one year with the boat club on the James, so this card piqued my interest when it came up for sale…plus of course being an A&G card.

I like this set! I only need the priddy/murphy to complete my yankee team set. Card is avoiding me like the plague.

Nice Hindu Devlin, Josh. Here is a Piedmont 150 of Devlin I just received from Ted Z. for being one of the winners of his recent contest. Love the multi-shading of red color on these. Thanks again Ted!

Default An interesting pair of T210 catchers

Nice way to start the New Year off with a couple of "visually" opposite T210s.

One tall and lean, T210=6 Jeff Elgin, Richmond, and the other...short and stout, T210-5 G.O. MacConachie, Winston-Salem.

How about one of the greatest pitchers in minor league history, the ol’ spitballer! Here’s a cool write-up on “Shelly” from one of Bob Lemke’s old blogs: http://boblemke.blogspot.com/2011/04...nback.html?m=0

As long as I'm here. T207s don't quite have the number of "backs" as T206. But enough to keep one honest ......
