Default Huge Thank You to Leon!

Beginning next Monday, I will be working for Heritage Auctions as a Researcher/Auction Writer in a job I am extremely excited about! I just wanted to publicly extend my heartfelt thanks to Leon for his role in serving as a reference. I have no doubt that Leon's excellent reputation played an important part in securing this opportunity for me, and I am eternally grateful. I am fortunate to live 5 minutes from Leon and am proud to call him a friend. Thanks man!

Congrats Mark. They could not have found a better person to fill that role. I am extremely happy for you. Andy just emailed today about doing a lunch....so depending on when you start we should all go have one. Take care....

Mark,

How are your creative writing skills?

So does that mean if we see an increase in BS commentary we can all "thank" Leon for that?

Congratulations on what should be a really fun job. It would just be cool to see all of that stuff in person.

Congratulations, Mark! With Derek Grady already there, it looks like Heritage is picking up the top talent from all of the major TPG's.

Default Thanks!

Thanks guys... I'm very excited to be joining them. After 17 years focusing on cards at Beckett, it will be a blast to be working on so much memorabilia. I always wanted to be a museum curator, and this is pretty close. And yes, I look forward to being on the same team as Derek and learning from him.

Leon, I start Monday, so let's plan lunch a few days into it. I don't know that area yet but it is supposed to have a lot of good food :-) Or I can meet you up near Beckett like we used to.
