Seller has had no ebay activity since 2000. Private bidding.

Anyone here recognize this card?

Stolen scan?

Steve, I'm with you. Unless I live in the same area as this guy and I can see the actual card I'm not bidding.

Is it Hal's? After all, how many of these exist in SGC holders and where could they have pulled the scan from?

VERY, very, VERY sketchy...private...less than $10 on a five figure card...etc.,

Remember when the seller tried to offer Hal's recently purchased version of this rarity?

The attached link http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/1478549/1903-4-breisch-williams-type-1-e107-jack-chesbro is from the SCP/Sotheby's December 10, 2005 auction. That card in the same grade went for $15,600, without juice I believe. The certification numbers are different. So maybe someone can pick up a hell of a dealy on eBay e.g. 1995 all over again.

.....the pictures of all three items being sold by this person have different backgrounds and angles.

It's almost like the pictures are "borrowed" from three different sources.

Might be a good idea to avoid this one.

This E107 Chesbro card was sold earlier on ebay this year. It’s a lifted picture; I’m 99% sure.

The Seller who originally sold the E107 card was noblegbcards. This is the same gentleman who recently listed the ungraded T206 Elberfield Broadleaf 460, and D303 Ty Cobb. Perhaps one of you could check with him.

My guess is you can bid but you wont be getting an E107 Chesbro from this current auction for any amount spent, because I'm 99% sure he doesen't own the card.

Honus saw the same thing I was going to mention, a brown background 2 photo scan, a black background scan, and a digital camera picture. None of the 3 auctions have similar photos, and the private auction. Run the other way.

Im going to ask him to scan the E107 again.

There was also a SGC30 in the December 10, 2005 Sotheby's auction (lot #159) ($13,000)

Also there was a scam 1 years ago with Hals E107 Chesbro, is this the same one??

Auction's gone. Maybe he should have listed it with a starting bid of, oh, say - $300,000. Those auctions seem to have a lot more staying power.

I sent a warning to Ebay last night that they need to look into this one. I repeated the concerns listed above and told them I thought it might be a good idea to email or call the person who registered the account to see if they are active again.

Great job by all on this scamster. Who says we can't do our part in policing the hobby and try to keep people from getting ripped off. joe

People said it was a million dollar wound. But the government must keep that money, cause I ain't never seen a penny of it.
