Default Is an editor for the Standard Catalog or Beckett's on the Board??

Posted By: Frank Wakefield

If you guys are, I've figured out who "Robinson, Louisville" is in E254, Colgan's Chips.

It is William Clyde "Rabbit" Robinson, who played with Washington in 1903, Detroit in 1904, and the Reds for 2 games in 1910. I'll post some info or email you guys info, to convince you of that. I just know when I look in my 2007 Standard Catalog it lacks a first name for Robinson.

Frank.

The 2 previous editors of those issues are on the board but I am not sure how much the current ones are or even "if" there is a current Beckett one, since Rich K. left... ..best regards

When will the 2008 Standard Catalog be available for shipping?

You can PRE-ORDER one now on Amazon, but I am wondering how far away we are from receiving it?

Frank,

Since you brought up the topic, I have been trying to contact someone regarding Hinchman in the E254 set. He is listed as Harry but the Hinchman pictured is actually his brother Bill.

Didn't an individual post a while back that they were compiling more detailed information about the E254 set (for the Standard catalog) and would appreciate any input?

Don Fluckinger is the current editor of the Standard Catalog, but I don't know his email. He seems like a pretty nice guy, and would be interested in any new info.

Frank,

This has nothing to do with your topic but....

...are you familiar with the name Frank Goss? Since you are from Kentucky, I was hoping you may have some info....or Tom B.? I picked up a cabinet recently(1903 Kentucky Champions) and am trying to do a little investigating.

Thanks,

Paul
