Default Does anyone recognize either of these players?

Posted By: Dave

I was told that the one player that is holding the ball could be Harry Stovey but I am not sure. If anyone recognizes either of these players, it would be appreciated. I haven't been collecting pre-war memorabilia too long and I am trying to learn as I go along. Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure either are ball players.

They look a bit too pale and soft for Base Ball men.

And they are wearing their belts incorrectly, I believe. Base Ballists would have worn the buckle over to one side, so as to not be digging into their belly when sliding.

I could be mistaken, someone may well identify them. But this may well be a photo of actors.

Frank.

They look like ballplayers to me...Certainly not professional ballplayers, but just your run of the mill town team players.
