Default Thanks Paul !!!

hi guys. i'm new here but have been reading and learning from all of you here for quite some time. paul convinced me to become active, so I decided to post a few of my april pick ups. bought these yesterday at the Bayou City show here in Houston. in addition, Paul was kind enough to sell me his 1911 M116 cy young (not pictured here since it's still in shipment....can't wait to get my hands on it!!!). thanks again for the gorgeous card, Paul.

Slow going for me lately. That just makes me branch out. Added this as a companion to my Billy Nash N172 run from the LOTG auction.

Thank you. Yes, it is a rare combo. Dean H has a much prettier one than mine - I tried to get him to sell or trade it to me, but he is too smart and brilliantly decided it best to keep it (wise move)....

Ryan, I think you have a problem and need help. The first step is to give away your collection so that you're not tempted to buy any more. I'll take it (them). You can thank me later.

Default Card show

Hi, I attended a card show today in LaCrosse, WI. I picked up this Cobb card, but the best part of the show was watching my four grandsons. I gave them each some money, which didn't last very long, so I gave them a little more. They had a great time and the dealers treated the kids like royalty and gave them some nice discounts. The kids are ages 9, 9, 10, and 11.

It was an expensive day, but it was a day that I will never forget.

This is the future of card collecting. Awesome to see. When I take my kids dealers have usually always been great to them and given discounts and free stuff.
