Default T206s with blue, square back stamp

Hello,

My apologies for not having an image... While rifling through a pile of T206s, I found several of these. Most, if not all were Piedmonts.

It was a single, simple, thick border stamp with a blank center, approx 3/4" wide. Not sure why just a few had it, so far. There were caramels mixed in as well, but all those were clean.

Any significance and would anyone have an example please?

Thanks,
Steve

Will try to snag a scan this week.

Steve,

Strange. Looks like a kid was messin' around with the stamper. Can't think of anything else that would make sense.

Yea, figured as much, as I found nothing while searching. Also found a dozen or so with a bunny stamp too. Thankyou.

What I did on St Patty's Day, the tip of the iceberg.

T stars with a smattering of E's. (Many will be up on the BST shortly.) Steve
