Default 1900s D-Cards...Bakery Cards.

So lets get back to some Pre War on the front page, the way it should be. I always say, (or at least usually) that if you want to change something then you need to do something. Anyone have other Baking issues (pre war please) that you care to share? Here is an uncategorized D card distributed with bread....
This one is a D-Unc.......And the blurb below is taken from the 1960 ACC....

Some very difficult issues. The flood of D381s that have hit the market in the last year is really cool. I love em

One of my favorites and coming from Lionel Carter's collection makes it extra special to me.

Hey Leon, were a couple of D cards the only ones missing from your old type collection or did you get those eventually?

Dean- I just picked up your cards brother. The serial numbers are even just 2 off. I know what you mean about this being a Lionel Carter card.

Awesome card Ed! It is really cool to own a card from his collection. Lionel had a really good eye and a lot of his cards have great eye appeal. Congrats on the pick up!

Jerry, only the O'Toole is mine, the Cy Young is Dean's, but thanks. I think there is something special in having a piece from Mr. Carter's old collection. Though most of the D304s I have came from you.

Default Bakery cards

I really enjoy the Weil and Holsum cards. They don't come up for sale very often except for the cards in the eBay museum.

The 1917's are much tougher than the 1916's, and they seem to be much tougher than the Holsum cards. The Standard Catalog lists 200 cards in the 1916 set and 200 cards in the 1917 set, but I doubt that there are enough cards out there to put together either of these sets.
