Default New ebayer at four negative feedback zero positive

This is just a story about an ignorant new ebayer.

So — looking for 53 topps on eBay saw guy with a lot of individual 53 topps for sale with stars and highs. Kevinone24. I stuck in a few opening bids. Guy had zero feedback so I didn’t bid high. Later realized some listings showed backs— they were 93 archives cards— mixed in with the other bids. Descriptions just said 53 topps. Couldn’t tell if all were archives just some that showed backs. Some had bid pretty high for nice 53 ford etc. I emailed seller to cancel my bids and he replied that they weren’t reprints. It Probably wasn’t a scam or he wouldn’t have posted some backs. Luckily I got outbid on all but one 99 cent bid with $4 shipping — not paying $4.99 for an archive card.

Asked him to cancel transaction —never heard back.

Now he has four different people feedback saying never received cards. No positive feedback. Five Negatives. Some were graded uv cards. My guess is guy got these cards through garage sale or deceased relative and had no idea what they were and is being overwhelmed with demands for refunds. Sad that there isn’t a single positive feedback.

My best find ever started out with an ebayer with a -1 feedback. And his name was Bob Smith.

Eventually bought over 700 cards from him, all new to the hobby.
