Default Virtual E103 Set

Posted By: robert a

We use to do this a long time ago, but not sure if it's a no-no these days.
Leon? It's a small set!

The point is to see if we can get DIFFERENT individuals from our card community to post one card to complete our virtual e103 set.
I'll go first.

Here are the players:

x2)Bresnahan
3)Brown
4)Chance
5)Chase
x6)Cobb

15)Gibson
16)Jennings
17)Jones

The Old Baseball Cards group has this type of presentation available for many sets - all you have to do is choose the set.

Default Virtual E103 Set

Robert, a summary for the E103 set can be found on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/e/e1/e103/e103.asp?cardsetID=744.

The summary also includes links to a Gallery of Cards (virtual E103 set) and a detailed checklist. The checklist contains the player's name, position and team as printed on the card fronts. In addition, there is a cross-reference to the numbers for cards in the massive M116 that share the same poses as the E103 players.

A few of the images in the Gallery are of relatively poor quality. We will be happy to upgrade any card images if any members of the forum would like to share high resolution scans of their cards. Just post the image in this thread or email to me at editor@oldcardboard.com.

We hope that you enjoy the Gallery.

Lyman and Brett Hardeman

Hi Guys,

Thanks Gil and Lyman. I'm aware of the Old Carboard site and I think it's a wonderful resource for many collectors as has been the first five issues of the mag.

The point of my thread was to present the challenge of completing the set within the thread with each different board member adding only one example to the set and along the way maybe meeting some other board members that also study the set and collect similar material.

Cheers Everyone~
Robert

Real poor Thomas, but it has a "toy town" stamp on back, which I enjoy:
