Default Let's See Those Bobblehead Collections!

I love bobbleheads. I am a collector of Yankees bobbles as well as of the Jets, Knicks, Islanders, Super Heroes, celebrities and anything else that catches my eye.

I will admit that my collection is modern. I only have one vintage nodder; a 1968 Lil' Dribbler NY Knicks bobble. I would absolutely love to see collections of other bobblehead collectors. Show off your collections here, vintage or modern. Doesn't matter to me.

Great stuff, Showdawg, especially the top two rows and the promo.

Does the Manziel come with a flask in his inner pocket?

Not nearly as focused as those magnificent collections above, I guess my collection is all over the place. Let's just say I like the Mascot Heads...

Might be my last time posting pictures here...

Those pics are upside-right on both my phone and on my computer. The only time they appear sideways is when I post here.... Ugh!

beautiful collection Mark. I don't mind the sideways angle. I would sit upside down to look at a awesome collection like that.

Someday I will add the vintage Yankee bobbles and Figureal pieces you have to my Yankees collection. Someday.

Default Couple of Bobbles

Couple of Bobbles - My Dad took me to Cooperstown in the 60's and told me I could pick out something to buy. The Reds (baseball head) bobblehead seemed the coolest at the time. I have never regretted it!

Nice to see you made your piece with Frazier.

BTW, thanks for the rally cry last year. We now will have to find another, lol.

commishbob,

Really great looking collection. I’m a fan of all things Orioles as well as a “Baltimore” Colts fan. I haven’t picked up any of the modern bobbing heads, but possibly will one day; at least the ones that catch my eye. Ultimately like to get all of the plastic figures from the statue unveiling’s; I do have the Brooks from the event.

Thanks Mark. I'm in a never-ending quest for all things BALTIMORE Colts! I've got lots of things to post but I'm still trying to figure out where to do it among the various subforums here. I finished off a complete run of regular B-Colts cards and found a lot of oddball stuff as well. I've blogged much of it.

Commish Bob, your photo skills are not as bad as you think. That is a great collection you have.

I read your blog. It's a great blog, I enjoy it immensely. I used to blog also. wrote the Sexy Geek's Sports Room. Had to give it up as my laptop was breaking down and when I gave up cable the internet went with it. I have been considering restarting it since I am a writer at heart and I miss the blog a lot. We'll see.

Mike I remember your blog...I had it in my blog list while you were actively posting. You should crank it back up.

But as you know it can be a burden to post regularly. I've been ignoring my '58 and '60 Topps blogs and I feel guilty but I have had so many projects going (hobby and non-hobby) that it got tough to keep up. Now that I'm retired I can look at them again.

Thanks Commish, I appreciate that. I really want to restart the blog, so I just may do so. Love your O's/Colts collection.

I know I’ve read some on your blog. Brooksie is my favorite and know you’ve placed a few cards on there in the past to view (also your top 10).

Keep posting the fine items!

Thanks Mike,

Good eye, I'm surprised you saw that in my crappy phone pic.

I'm trying to figure out how to display my baseball and superhero collections in the same room

Thanks Mike,

Good eye, I'm surprised you saw that in my crappy phone pic.

I'm trying to figure out how to display my baseball and superhero collections in the same room
I'm a superhero collector also, mainly Spider-Man and Batman. I have been trying to come up with a way to display the two collections in the same area as well when I move. I guess it will be size of area depending.

I do have a photo of Yankee Stadium signed by Spider-Man artist John Romita Sr that I figured I could hang in between the Yankees & Spidey collections as a "bridge" between the 2 collections.

Mike, Yankee Stadium photo signed by the legend Romita sounds like a good bridge between the two.

Here is another one of my bridges,

Hi Greg,

Man, that is very nice. Hot Toys & statues?

I am a huge Adam West Batman fan, so I love that statue down below. I have never seen it before. Is it an official release?

Hi Mike,

The Adam West Statue is a Sideshow Premium Format. The Wonderwoman on the top shelf is the only non Hot Toys figure of the top 2 shelves.

I'm also a big Adam West fan. I was going to meet him and Burt Ward at last September at the Rose City Comic Con But Mr. West passed away about a month before the show. I still met Burt Ward and got to talk to him for 2 or 3 minutes. I also got William Shatners auto. Best autograph experience I've had since the 80's when I Got Mantle, Koufax and a slew of other HOF at Portland Ore BB Card shows.

I was lucky. I got to meet him twice. Once solo, the other time with Burt Ward & Lee Merriwether. It was great both times.

I was thrilled once the show got released on DVD and Blu-Ray and a flood of merchandise related to the show was released. I was able to get a few things here and there. The Hot Toys figures are holy grails. I hope to own them at some point.
