Default Too Good? T206 Chance Batting

Posted By: Dave

This card has too many warning signals for me. Especially the 0 feedback. Fac 42, big borders, no stains, no grading.

Comments?

Hi Dave,
Looks like a bad trim job to me. PSA 8? Yeah right.... Besides what's rare about a Sweet Cap Factory 42... Nothing! be wary Brian

It isnt real- unless it is in the picture , the card has a velvety type shean. I recognized this, one person tried to sell me a similar looking card.

I do not own any T206 reprints. Is there any listing of T206 reprints or article on how to distinguish reprints from the real deal?

This card has an uneven top edge and looks trimmed to me.

Yes, too many warning signals. But it wouldn't hurt to ask why he did not have them graded. Not that any response from him can overcome 0 feedback, but a poor response would end consideration of his offerings, I think.

worry about the seller more than the card in this case.

check out cycleback.com

Also, go to the "t206 checklist" post thats going right now in network 54 and request a copy of "The Monster." This work will probably help you to be able to distinguish between the real deal and the reprints.
