I use my "realm" all the time. But to get the "insert object" option you positively have to be logged in. I just created the following image, added it to my realm, and used "insert object" to add it to this post:

I'm really hoping that vintage photography enthusiasts (like Ambo on the "Old Judge Proof" thread) will jump in and we can all have some fun. I still like cards (won a t205 Cobb today) but don't have the dough to do the hobby justice, and vintage baseball photography collecting is cheap, fun, and your collection is usually made up of unique items.

I was going to post a couple of new purchases this morning but I was not able to include the photos. I was logged into my account. Hopefully this can be resolved - it's a great idea for a board.

Runscott,
I would be glad to share what I know about the Wet Plate process ,especially what I know about detecting fake Ambrotypes and Tintypes--and I have seen loads of obvious fakes for sale and sold on e-bay.
I also have many interesting images(not baseball related) I have saved from various auctions/sites and books for my own reference that show unusual varities of the process that I could share on your site--just to show what was possiable in that period, however would this be a violation of any copyrights?
For instance I would love to share one of the few vintage baseball images I am aware of in my reference. It is a great multi print "panaroma" of "The New York Knickerbocker Nine in 1864" Printed in Vol.1 pg.374 of the book "The Image Of War" credited to "The National Baseball library".I would post this great early image if its ok, and would love to see other images of that period.
Great Ideal for a site and I can definetly add some links to sites that I have found usefull in researching and replicating the process.
Respectfully,
Tim Parson

Tim, I don't think there is a problem with posting images you find on the internet, as long as you don't make money from it.

Anyone else disagree with this?
