Default Anyone help with this item I bought??

Not sure what it is, but I love Matty stuff so I went for it! The colors on the slide are MUCH more beautiful than the pictures show. Didn't pay a whole lot for it on eBay, but think it is cool! It arrived today and aside from the typical auction write up, anyone else know about it (i.e. Scarcity, value, etc.)???

Auction description from the 'Bay

"This is a fabulous theater announcement glass magic lantern slide, beautifully colored, featuring famous pitcher Christy Mathewson for Tuxedo Cigarettes. (Under his photo on the slide his name is spelled "Christie.) It is an "announcement slide" shown on the screen of a theater, vaudeville house, or other auditorium and the message for the audience on this one is, "Children, Please Keep Quiet!" Slides were usually discarded after a relatively short period of use so are difficult to find. Slide is 3 1/4" x 4", is in very good condition, and can be viewed by projecting, holding it to the light, or placing it on a light box."

Thanks,
Greg
