Well Joe if you actually knew the real reason I want to be able to smoke (and not like cigarettes) I am sure you might understand. Its free, I can grow it myself, and I could use it instead of expensive overpriced meds to take care of issues. Would save me thousands that could go elsewhere. Like she also says "You are an adult and even though I don't approve of it I can't stop you. I just don't like it." To me I read it well enough to know not to rock the boat. Some pup I am huh

BTW this thread was started about some personalized tags I got. I wanted to see if anyone else displayed their additiction like this.

Default Puppy, I should have been clearer .....

"I thought OSAMA.... oops OBAMA or whatever may take care of that but some help he has been."

A brilliant statement.

Here's a man that just made history.
He did what Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, LBJ, Clinton, and others tried to do in a period of over a century.

The people finally have a toe hold in health reform, and they can now fine tune it from there.

Pup, I'm aware of your personalized tags, and the reaction that you were looking for.
Great tags, and the reaction was not what you expected.
I was ticked off with your Obama comment.
The man has done more in one year, than the guy before him did in eight.

I'm for legal medical marijuana.
Having been raised in Spanish Harlem during the '30's & '40's, I also know about the negative side of marijuana.

I wish you luck, but how about supporting a Man that wants to represent the people, and not the corporate world.

Stay well,
Joe Pelaez

Joe,

Not to turn this into a political debate, but you are right, here is a man that just made history: As shown in a little-noticed release from the Treasury Department today, the Obama Administration has run up the largest budget deficit in American history in February of 2010, a whopping total of $220.9 Billion in just one month.

At least we all have one thing in common. You going to the Chantilly show this weekend?

Andrew,
Yep, what you have is a definite obsession. I think the only other car plate that I've seen was "T-206".

Frank

Six months ago I used to visit this site 10 times a day. Then I stopped cold turkey. (There are other things I wish I could do in that manner.)

I stopped for two reasons.

1. The new wife and I were in the process and purchasing our first home and the constant new cardboard was detrimental to that endeavor.

2. I could post a thread titled "Just finished my 23' Zeenut subset" and somehow-someway it would spiral into the mud.

I still bartend on weekends because it's great money. Come into my bar anytime. There are only two rules. NO POLITICS. NO RELIGION. It's amazing how harmonizing it can be when those steps are followed. This is a vintage cardboard forum. Where in "Pre and Post War Baseball Forum" does "my take on anything else but cardboard" materialize?

Anyways, great to be back.

I gotcha Joe, no prob. My political views are probably not best suited for this board. We all have what we believe should be done and it more than likley won't get done, but isn't that the best part. If they did everything they said and everything we wanted and needed we would not have anything to discuss

Default Hello Frank .....

We do have the Chantilly Show in common. ... See ya there.

Frank, maybe you can shed some light on this?

Why is it that the folks that gave us the Cheney/GW 8 years, always seem to have a memory loss when it comes to .....

The inherited economical surplus, that was destroyed to the financial mess that we're in now. ... That did happen.

Two ill advised Middle Eastern wars that the Neo Con "Project for the New American Century" Think Tank been trying to talk Clinton into doing since 1997.
He didn't, and they did when Five Deferments Cheney came into power.
The two wars are still going on.
Great loss of men, and women of all ages, and countless loss of limbs.
Sadly, the men, and women that were put in harms way, the ones that come back, they will bring back with them the memories of their experience, and it will be with them for the rest of their lives. (and it was not about bringing Democracy to the Middle East.)

The two Oil Wars are also a big reason why our surplus became a financial mess.
It drained our economy, and it's continuing to do so.

I can't believe that the Party of NO wants us to continue on this Path.

Joe, give it a rest or I won't jump start your car this time.

Hope you'll stop by the table and chat a while. You'll need to get off your feet.

Oh yea, my addiction. Sorry I don't have a photo but my office at home is what I call my geek room. A couple of walls covered with framed M101-2s, R311s, M601s, the R309-1 set, and various and sundry premiums. Pretty pathetic really.

Default no politics

Please no more politics. This is fair warning that if you put them in this thread anymore, or they spill over into other ones, you will not be happy. They will be removed. There are probably a million forums to discuss politics and this is not one of them. Nothing personal. thanks

Default Kudos leon!

Thanks Leon, as usual, the voice of reason. How about eliminating the drug talk also? Some of us just want to talk cards, not illegal activities.
Good on ya mate!

I don't like butting in too much on what people can and can't say (though there is a faction that thinks I should) however, that being said there will not be too much drug talk on the board either. An extraordinary innuendo isn't the end of the world but discussions about them would be a no-no. take care

I thought the drug reference was pretty innocuous, and just gave everyone an opportunity to throw out a funny one-liner and move on.

But comparing the President to a mass murderer was stupid and in terrible taste, and does not belong on this board or anywhere. I was offended by it.
