Speaking totally from personal opinion, the only name I see of any value to me would be the Stengel. I would think that to be in the 90-125 range. I know there's a market for the E. Howard sig, but it's never really interested me much.
The rest are pretty much common players as far as autographs go. if I were going to make an offer,it would probably be about $150-175(due to vintage), but again, jmo.

I think it was worth it for $250. My opinion, and I'm an Elston Howard fan, is that you got more than your money's worth between his 3 autos and Stengels. The others are gravy but nice to have a vintage Berra, Larson etc. Also, you say there's a bunch of others. Look for other names, especially if the book covered all of 58 for Duke Maas...then you'd really have your money's worth.

Each signature will get a bonus in value in that it's vintage. $250 sounds like a reasonable price.

I think it depends on your reason for buying the book.
If you want it because you like the Yanks and that era, and are going to keep it, I think $250 is not unreasonable.
If you want it to break it down for resale, I think $250 is too much unless there is some hidden rare gem in the book. You would make your $250 back, but I doubt there would be much profit. Plus in order to sell them for good money, you would have to break it down and sent it to one of the auth companies for certs. If you combine the $250, plus the cert costs, I think there would be very little left over.
I agree with Dr Cycleback on the bump for vintage sigs, but nowadays I don't think there are that many people out there that are going to give a whole lot extra for them. The super rare sigs would absolutely get the premium, but for most of the regular Yanks and Sens, I think people will save their money for something rarer.

JMHO,
Mark

I think it is worth 250.00 as long as you didn't buy it from Coach's Corner.

As far as vintage premium goes, you never want your Babe Ruth to be from the 1980s.

As far as vintage premium goes, the 1930s Babe Ruth is worth more than the one from the 1980s.

There are no blockbuster names or hidden rarities, but $250 still seems okay to me.
