While you are adjusting the numbers, I did just reach 100. Seems like it has slowed down this summer, but 100 different since Oct. of 2012 is more than I thought I would have.

A whopping 2 points thus far, as I just got my first two T206 cards today.

I am sure years from now I will chuckle recollecting when the Monster first bit me, and cringe thinking about how much money it cost me.

My thanks to Doug (piedmont150) for the first two of what will be many over time.

I'm now at 510, after buying 12 cards at the National.

As pointed out to me by Frank, my numbers were a bit off

I'm actually at 508 now.

Other than the Big-4 and O'Hara, I need 11 Southern Leaguers (collecting the SLers with Old Mill backs).

I have to give a shout-out to RunScott, as he sold me 7 SLers and a G Browne (Washington) at the National. I also picked up a Demmitt SL at the Show.

Hello, Frank. Picked up a few since my last update, mostly commons and a nice Cy Young, would post a pic but my scanner is lacking.

Sitting at 456.

249b. Red Kleinow (New York) (Catching) P350

Default EPDGs

The EPDGs have gotten too rich for me, so you can remove my second set as the cards have been consigned.

How does this work if you're doing a back run for one single card? I have 6 Admiral Schlei catching now.

Well, I guess I cannot complain about this week. Between the BST and the Bay, I picked up nine Monster Bits. I need only 5 Commons to knock out that segment of the set. Things will start getting more expensive from here on out, as if it hasn't been so far. According to my spreadsheet, I have spent $9270 to get this far. My updated MN is 389.9.

The latest nine:

484. Heinie Wagner (Bat On Left Shoulder) P150
320. George McQuillan (With Bat) P350
456. George Stovall (Batting) SC350-460
420. Wildfire Schulte (Front View) P150
294. Rube Marquard (Hands At Thighs) SC150
117. George Davis (Chicago) SC150
324. Chief Meyers PB
333. Herbie Moran (Providence) P350
205. Buck Herzog (New York) SC350

1st entry for the Paul Goldin t206 monster number, put in at 250. Have been on a spending spree, so this is going to be drifting upward. Will update when all. My boxes are in and opened

Back up to 519. I would like to get the O'Hara and finish the set minus the big 4, but doesn't seem likely without parting with a card or two I really like.

Default A Crazy Week

I was off from work and spent way to much time chasing the Monster. I grabbed 17 with a couple HOF and 10 Southern Leaguers. One BST helped clean up the Commons. I then got the bright idea to do a second BST for the SL-ers. MY new MN is 406.9...

The LIST:

189. Clark Griffith (Batting) SC350
133. Red Dooin P350
132. Wild Bill Donovan (Throwing) P350
281. Paddy Livingstone (Livingston) P350
22. Jack Bastian P350
175. Charlie Fritz P350
49. Roy Brashear P350
45. Bill Bradley (Portrait) SC150
361. Al Orth P350
277. Harry Lentz (Sentz) OM
423. Charles Seitz OM
375. Hub Perdue OM
206. Gordon Hickman P350
280. Perry Lipe 350
226. Hughie Jennings (One Hand Showing) PB
198. Bill Hart (Little Rock) OM
215. Ernie Howard (Savannah) OM

A bit of a difference between last week and this one, I only grabbed three. I guess moving into the Southern League segment of the Monster will slow things down..... My new MN is 409.9

The trio:
441. Sid Smith (Atlanta) P350
491. James Westlake OM
304. Pat McCauley OM

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

I've been collecting blindly for about 5-6 years now just picking up cards when I liked them. Pulled them out yesterday to count. I have 112. It will take me 20+ years at this rate but I recognize the slow process. Maybe in another year I'll actually inventory them so I know what I have.

It's been a while since I updated, so let it be known that I'm at 322. Thank you Frank!
