I think I've seen a similar ad with Merkle.

Cool piece!

I guess you'll have to frame that next to an article about Merkle's Boner.

Great ad piece. I recently picked up a Gibson Coca-Cola ad that I intend to frame as soon as I figure out exactly how I want to frame it.

I wonder if anyone has ever compiled a complete checklist of these.

Regards,

Richard.

I have a Carinals scorecard from 1946 and the front is a huge Coca Cola ad. At some point there was some paper loss on the front and now it reads: "Need Refreshment? Have a Cok"

Hey Richard,
I've never seen a checklist. I have nine of them, including Dooin (2), Tinker (2), Alexander, Huggins, Callahan, Walter Johnson and Konetchy. Here are a couple of them.

Default Joe knows how to play ball

Mr. Tinker does claim that it is the best "inside play" for the thirsty ball player. 'Nuf Ced!

Not a coke ad but I bought a Shadow Comics from 1945 because of this cool John McGraw cartoon(?). Sorry for the horrible pics. it is the front back of same page.

There is a market for old ads; the question is how much. I sold a Fro-Joy ad earlier this year. Got a lot less than I'd hoped.

Perhaps Tinker was somehow related to Colonel Angus of Saturday Night Live fame.
