Default Original 1923 Yankee Stadium Seat

Just completed the restoration on this Original Yankee Stadium seat I acquired a couple months back. This was my first time restoring a stadium seat and I am very happy with how it turned out! All wood and screws are original and I also left the screws unpainted so you can see their age. Custom built a home plate to mount it to for added support. Thanks to Al for the advice during this project!

Turned out great! I have done a few different stadium seats. When I get them they are usually in rough shape. I use a wire brush to take off the loose paint and repaint over that. I've seen people take them down to bare wood but then they look too new when they are done. You want them to look like they have paint over paint over paint because thats how old seats should look.

Thanks everybody...It was definitely a labor of love. I'm just happy I was able to get it back into once piece!

I know, it's not very old, but just got back from picking up this seat from old Rangers stadium in Arlington.
