it's a decent price for a normal back in that condition! I know 42's aren't the most popular rare back, but damn I wish I'd had $8500 laying around!

With the prices of Red Cobbs in the last year I also think it was a very good buy especially with the back. Piedmont Factory 42s don't get the respect they deserve. And it is probably because most other Piedmonts are not scarce.
