Default Goodwin Auction..any favorites?

Over 900 lots of nice looking stuff. Anybody have a favorite item to watch? Anything that you would consider rare and unavailable in most places?

Hello there,

I'm looking at one of the Ruth cards, a T215 common and one or two of the D304's.

He's one of the "good guys".

Nothing in there that I can't live without though there is a nice selection.

I was wondering where his link in the auction section went - It seems many have disappeared.

Is it just my computer or are the scans of the cards showing up out of focus for everyone?
Also like to add that there's a couple tough E cards i could use for my type set, the E105 and E103's listed, but they may be a little to high grade considering the HOF's for me to chase after and the E105 is PSA 7, so will see...

They are definitely out of focus. I'm looking at the PSA 10 T206 he's got and the scan is really bad. It looks off center at least 60/40, but I don't know if that's the scan or the card. Problem is the contact page only has a phone number and address listed too, no email address. It's different software than he used for the last auction, so hopefully he's just working out the kinks.

That is an intelligent and worthy question Ron but unless a guy here wanted to throw out some red herrings, why in the world would he reveal what he is going after? Lots of friends here but a few barracudas as well

It's hard to believe any T206 could be found in gem mint condition other than reprints. The 13 that have been graded as perfect must have been found inside the pages of long forgotten books or come out of a pristine unopened pack of cigs.

The 1910 W-Unc cards are neat. I wonder how much more the individuals will sell for than when they sold as a complete notebook cover on eBay a while back.

I own one of the cards from "the rivals" notebook that I recently picked up in an ebay auction where several were listed. Im surprised they didnt sell for more, the starting bids for the cards at Goodwin are about what they ended for on ebay!
