Default T206 Factory Overstrikes (Again)

I am still working on that Spreadsheet.

I know this has been covered probably to death in previous threads, but the last I saw was that they added little to the value of the card. Something like 0.3% if that.

Does anyone know if that status has changed?

Is it even a factor, or worth recording?

I've got a bunch of them - some have the partial "braid", most have the full braid rather than the "bar" type overstrike. By partial I mean you can see at least part of the original factory 30 line.

Sorry for what may be a dumb question...

Doug

the overstrike does not add much to the value. The ones where you can see both factory numbers are more desirable and will bring a bit more.

The srcoll factory 42s usually bring a little more than the solid bar 649. Also the the cards that show factory 30 are more common with scroll factory 42 and less common with solid bar 649.
