Default How did everyone do in the Sterling Auction?

I met fierce competition late last night with the T210 cards and only managed to win a couple but I changed my strategy late and also won a nice 1960 Topps complete set, so I felt good about the night.
The auction was very well run and was very user friendly.
Thanks Brian,
TBob

Nice pick-up on the '60 Topps, and great set-building strategy!

I've had good luck with sterling but was blown out of the H2O on the one lot I thought I was interested in.

Default Consignment

My consignment got what I expected; was the under bidder on the only card I was interested in.

So, were you consigning the BL350, or were you the underbidder on it?

I lost out on both cards I was interested in. They both went at 125% of where I thought they'd land. Definietly user friendly per norm.

I picked up a couple 1939-46 Exhibits, Perez Steele Autos of Ford and McCovey and a few other odds and ends. Great auction as always...something for everyone.

Default Picked up an Obak

My Obak Number is now 10. Don't worry, I'm not going to start another Number thread.

I've been thinking though that a blank back T212 card should be called a zer,
.................................................. .................................................. .......
......................... as in zer Obak.

Thanks Brian

These are really nice and oversized...if I remember correctly they are about 5 3/4 x 8". I have a Mays, Whitey Ford and McCovey in my collection...enjoy!

I also met some unexpected competition on the T210's I was trying to win.Or maybe I was the new hat in that drove the prices up more.I still think they closed at great prices. However,I do seem to overpay a little every now and then.I usually do paypal but you have me thinking m/o on this one SSA.The free shipping sure is enticing. But so is getting the cards a week or so earlier. What to do.Here are a few of the T210's I picked up.Still havent figured out how to size scans.Sorry.Jason

This card has been moved around a lot lately. Yet the price never really seems to change... when you don't include the BP, it actually went down this time.

Neither. My consignment was the 30 card raw lot of T206. I bid on the Stephens double name.

This is the first time I've bid on cards from any auction. Brian kindly allowed me to register and I think the registration page was amended to allow me to enter my address details (the format for addresses in England is different). Brilliant customer service!!

Happily I was able to win 4 of the common t205s and look forward to bidding in future auctions.

I was after that one also, and the Brown portrait, but bowed out.

Yes, I wanted it for a while, but I already have a T206 Beck (the blank back). Finally pulled the trigger despite the duplication.

Awesome auto Pete! Love Killer's auto, I have about 4 signed rookies in amazing condition, and his auto just makes the card.

Pete! I opened the bidding on the Perez-Steele card. If I recall, that was the only Killebrew auto. Nice card!
