Default Hi, new here because some memorabilia came my way!

As I said I’m new here and not a collector myself. I came into some vintage memorabilia due to a family purchase of a house. The dwelling was the home of a former trainer that, from what I can tell got his start in the thirties with some minor league teams then the Yankees and worked into the early 80s with other mlb teams. The family was given the opportunity to rummage through the garage but refused, due to the hoarding conditions in the dwelling. I have loads of things, lots of team issues photos even the original Yankees letterhead inviting him to work for them in the thirties. Some autographs like DiMaggio brother and others. Even if these scrapbooks and the rest have little value it is super cool to step back into the pre and post war baseball world through his career. I don’t know where to start. That’s why I’m here. I’m thinking of starting a photo diary on instagram, direct people to it so they can view the items. If anyone has any suggestions on my next step of getting values or putting these items in the hands of those who appreciate them please let me know! Thanks

Hi Greg...Posting pictures here would be a great start. There are plenty of people here who can tell you anything you want to know. But they'll need to see pictures.

Welcome to the board, I am sure you cannot post everything - but pictures and info any items would be helpful - I noticed a few of the items already. Do you feel many of the items are pasted with glue or have damage to the backs?

Thanks Jimmy

you are still listed as a guest. Not sure if you can post images until you are a member? Are you in PA? I see all the Philadelphia Athletics items.

When I told the OP that instagram isn't the best he asked to delete his account. Easy come easy go. There are around 330 million people in the US...The forum is like a box of chocolates.
