Default Slightly OT Supreme court auto

I have a few things I've picked up over the years that I'm considering moving along since they're not really my thing. Figured I'd start with this one.

Huge scan also online, just remove the a from the end of the filename.

It compares fovorably with a few that are out there, especially the one in this collection http://law.okcu.edu/?page_id=9654

Reed was an associate justice from 38-57 and had a large part in some early civil rights cases. Appointed as a moderate he had a fairly important role often being the deciding vote when the court was split. He also had a part in brown v board of education, initially being the lone dissent, but joining the majority before the decision was issued making it unanimous.

The addressee was also a fairly important figure, although locally in the Camden NJ area. He left the post with customs in 1938

The brief letter was mailed only about 2 weeks after Reed was seated as a supreme court justice. The two may have known each other from Yale. I don't know if they were classmates, but both were there in 1906.

I see examples online from about 500 for cards to 1500 for letters. I'd be open to offers about in the middle of that.
Or is there someplace good to consign it?

Steve B
PS - If there's a problem with it that i've missed let me down easy
PPS- At closer to the 1500 I'd be willing to frame it, all included.
